1. Who We Are
You are contracting with SURA Ltd t/a EDGE Garage, a company registered in England with Company Registration Number 09683086. The Registered Office is The Old Paint Factory, New Road, Brixham TQ5 8NF. SURA LTD does not Trade from this address it provides an umbrella of online, payment and design services. References to “EDGE”, “we”, “our” and “us” throughout the Terms and Conditions refer only to Contracts with SURA LTD and no other website or company with a similar name. SURA Ltd may outsource any purchase or contract to a third party.

In the event that you are not satisfied with the goods or service you have received from us, or if you wish to contact the Company regarding any other matter, please contact our Customer Service Department using the contact details provided in the “Contacting Us” section of these Terms and Conditions.
If, having contacted our Customer Service Department, you are still dis-satisfied with the goods or service received from us, the Company does participate in an Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme, as described in the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015. Please ask our Customer Services Department for details.
2. General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. In-Centre Service & MOT Bookings
Specific times may be booked for MOTs. If you have selected a specific time, please be punctual or our ability to offer the MOT that day may be impacted.
For Servicing, your vehicle should be with us by 9am.
2. Mobile Bookings
If you have ordered tyres and/or alloy wheels for fitting by an EDGE Mobile Van, one of our mobile service centre controllers will contact you within 2 working days of the date of order to arrange a mutually convenient time slot for our EDGE Mobile Van to visit. Fitting appointments offered for mobile units are either a morning (am) or afternoon (pm) slot.
The fitting of tyres or wheels to your vehicle will be subject to a visual inspection of your vehicle, wheels and tyres prior to the work starting. This ensures you have selected the correct tyre and wheel specifications for your vehicle.
We will do our best to ensure that our mobile unit arrives with you during the agreed time period and to complete the work within the estimated time given to you, however, the time of the booking shall not form a contractual term. We will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable of any delays or complications.
EDGE will not be liable for any economic losses arising in any manner whatsoever out of any delays to, or complications with, the fulfilment of an Order, provided that nothing in these terms limits or excludes EDGE’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its proven negligence.
3. Cancellation of Work for Drive–In Customers
You have the right to cancel at any time before the instructed work has commenced.
There will be no charge provided no costs have been incurred. Where costs have been incurred you will only pay for the work completed or the cost incurred. Payment for costs incurred will be required prior to the removal of the vehicle. Deposits will be refunded only if no costs have been incurred. If you collect an unfinished vehicle any deposit is forfeited and you are liable for the full job value even if it is not completed.
4. Storage Charges
Under normal conditions, no storage charges will be applied, however, storage charges will be payable to EDGE in relation to any abandoned vehicles or vehicles not collected from EDGE for a period of 7 days following completion or final invoice for the work undertaken by EDGE on such vehicle. Once storage and work value exceeds the minimum trade value of the vehicle as stated in CAP or Glasses Guides you agree we can sell the vehicle and offset funds against the remaining account. If the vehicle has no Glass's or CAP value this value will be deemed to be the average of the top 3 vehicle adverts in classified adverts on Ebay.co.uk, less 30%.
Face to face payment
For drive-in customers or for additional work undertaken for online customers, payment in full is required on completion of the work and prior to the removal of the vehicle. You agree that we will hold your vehicle until such time as payment is received in full, including any service or storage charge.
6. Removed Parts
With the exception of Warranty and Service Exchange Parts, removed parts will be disposed by EDGE. Disposal will be in accordance with current environmental regulations and legislative requirements. A fee may be charged for this service. These parts normally remain for inspection for a period of 7 days, this is not guaranteed.
7. Removed Wheels
Wheels which are removed from your vehicle to be replaced with Alloy or other wheels purchased from EDGE will be left with you, unless otherwise agreed with EDGE.
Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), once fitted to your vehicle a tyre, wheel or any other part cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Subject to your statutory rights (which shall not be affected by this provision), it is not possible to offer refunds after purchase for any parts that have been used on your car. If you believe that a part, tyre or wheel we have fitted is faulty, we will offer you the option of purchasing a replacement while the original part is sent to the manufacturer for analysis. If the manufacturer confirms that the product is faulty the cost of your replacement purchase will be refunded. We do however offer extensive guarantees on our work and parts (see separate section).
EDGE reserves the right to add, remove or amend the terms and conditions contained in this site without prior notice.
1. Point of Legal Contract Creation
When you place an order via the website to purchase services from, or to have goods fitted by, EDGE, this constitutes an “offer”.
EDGE will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of it (the “Order Confirmation”). This constitutes the “acceptance”, irrespective of whether any payment that has been taken previously by EDGE.
In the event that EDGE does not accept your offer and/or does not issue an Order Confirmation to you, EDGE shall make a full refund of any payments made by you as part of the ordering process.
These terms are the only terms upon which EDGE will contract with you for the purchase of its services through its website, They shall govern the contract to the entire exclusion of all other terms or conditions.
EDGE retains the right to refuse to accept your order solely at its discretion. If there is concern that there is an attempt to place an order dishonestly, fraudulently, by impersonating someone else or by attempting to use payment details which have been stolen, we will make additional checks and if appropriate involve external authorities.

You may view this website and print or download any part(s) of it for personal, non-commercial purposes only. 6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and shall by interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in England and Wales in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website. Use of this website is unauthorised in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions.
7. Relationship of Parties and Third Party Rights
You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and EDGE as a result of the use of this website. Only you and EDGE shall be entitled to enforce these Terms and Conditions. No third party shall be entitled to enforce any of the terms, whether by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.
If any part of these terms are determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of these terms shall continue in effect.
9. Entire Agreement
These terms are the only terms upon which EDGE is prepared to deal with a purchaser through this website and they shall govern the contract arising from any order made through this website that is accepted by EDGE to the entire exclusion of all other terms or conditions.
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and EDGE with respect to the use of this website and they supersede all prior communications and proposals.
Offers are for retail customers only.
All pricing on this website is in pounds sterling and is inclusive of UK Value Added Tax. Unless explicitly stated, the cost of fitting any parts purchased is included in the price. The price of the goods and/ or services shall be the price specified by EDGE in the Order Confirmation issued to you.
Our website contains a large number of goods and services and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the goods and/ or services listed on this website are incorrectly priced. We verify the prices included in your order to us as part of our processing procedures so that, where goods and/ or services are incorrectly priced we may, at our discretion, either contact you for your instructions in relation to your order or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
EDGE reserves the right, before the relevant contract is formed in accordance with these terms and conditions, to change the price of the goods.
11. Quotations and Additional Work
All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue, unless they include a specific promotional offer which has an earlier expiry date. The expiry date of promotional offers will be clearly marked.
Once work has started you will be informed immediately of any additional work identified. A new printed quotation will be produced on request and work will only be carried out with your agreement.
Servicing and Repair Transactions may only to be made through this website by residents of, and/or individuals, located in the United Kingdom. Parts and accessories are supplied Worldwide.
All services ordered or booked on this website are either carried out at one of our centres in the UK or by one of our mobile fitting vehicles at the location agreed by EDGE in our Order Confirmation. Mobile fittings may not be available in some locations.

14. Disclaimer: Selection of the Correct Tyres or Parts for your Vehicle
The fitting of tyres to your vehicle will be subject to a visual inspection of your vehicle, parts and/or tyres prior to the work starting to confirm that you have selected the correct tyres for your vehicle.
EDGE undertakes reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website or in our wokshops but due to the range and complexity of tyre sizes fitted to vehicles during manufacture and in the aftermarket, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information and the results of the said applications on this website. EDGE accepts no responsibility for, and excludes all liability for, any losses suffered as a result of any applications on this website that are used by you to select the tyre sizes for your vehicle (using either the vehicle registration plate or the vehicle type) or by failing to provide the correct information for your vehicle.
EDGE also accepts no responsibility for and excludes all liability for any losses suffered as a result of any of our customers selecting and/ or ordering from us the incorrect tyre or parts specification (e.g. Runflat / Reinforced / Winter tyre) provided that nothing in these terms limits or excludes EDGE’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its proven negligence.
Customers ordering tyres or parts online for fitment, either by one of our mobile units or at a EDGE Centre, should verify the tyre size, part type/ application and specification currently fitted to their vehicle before placing their online order for tyres with us. In the event that the incorrect tyres are ordered on this website by a customer, EDGE will use its normal business processes to source the correct tyres and reschedule the fitting appointment.
15. Cancellation / Movement of Online Bookings and Purchases
Appointments can be rescheduled to an alternative date (subject to availability) provided one clear working day is allowed between rescheduling and the original appointment (e.g. appointments for Thursday can be rescheduled up to midnight on Tuesday).
You have the right to cancel any online purchase or booking of services without charge by giving written notice prior to the day of service, unless EDGE has, with your consent, commenced the performance of the services and incurred cost.
When you have paid in advance for any services from EDGE and you do not attend the scheduled appointment without making an appropriate cancellation or alternative arrangement with EDGE, EDGE shall be entitled to retain fifty percent (50%) of the relevant advance payment and EDGE shall refund to you the remaining fifty percent (50%) of such advance payment.
4. Guarantees and further general conditions of trade
1. General Guarantee Conditions
The guarantees apply from the date of original purchase.
Guarantees are not transferable and only apply to the person who made the original purchase.
Please ensure you retain your invoice, as proof of purchase is necessary before work can be carried out under the guarantees.
All parts originally purchased at EDGE are covered by these guarantees (with the exception of “TyreCare” which is optional and chargeable), however, parts failing as a result of criminal or malicious damage, fire, theft or where the parts have been used for motorsport, hire vehicles or taxis are excluded.
If work is required to be carried out other than by EDGE, approval must be obtained in advance from EDGE Customer Service. The guarantee may be invalidated when parts are repaired by a garage or individual other than by EDGE. EDGE is not responsible for any part removed from the vehicle or adjusted by any person other than EDGE.
These guarantees do not cover any defect caused by reasonable wear, tear or corrosion, or any costs incurred through loss of use. Manufacturer’s conditions of sale apply to all goods sold.
These guarantees do not extend to any monetary or compensatory claim, in particular consequential or additional losses.
All EDGE guarantees are in addition to your statutory rights.
2. Tyres Lifetime Guarantee
All new tyres are covered against manufacturing defects throughout the legal life of the tyre. If a replacement tyre is necessary, only the tread used will be charged for provided the tread depth exceeds the minimum legal requirements. Tyres may have to be returned to manufacturer for inspection, in which case EDGE will follow the standard procedure laid down by the British Tyre Manufacturers Association.
3. Wheel Alignment
Vehicle wheel alignment is affected by road conditions and driving circumstances and therefore adjustment cannot be covered by a EDGE guarantee. However, should you have reason to believe that further adjustment is necessary after your visit, we will check and re-adjust (if required) free of charge within 30 days of purchase.
4. Air Conditioning
We may offer a ‘Recharge or No Charge’ air-conditioning service. You only pay if the coolest vent temperature from your car has improved by more than 10% when measured in degrees Celcius. Note: if the ambient temperature around the car is less than 9oC it may affect the air-conditioning recharge test results. In these circumstances it is at the Manager’s discretion whether to offer a refund.
Air-conditioning repairs are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
All Batteries are sold with a minimum 1-year Unlimited Mileage Guarantee; check invoice for details.
All Batteries are sold with a Lifetime Guarantee, including the labour required to honour this guarantee. EDGE will replace the defective battery on your vehicle free of charge, subject to these guarantee conditions. Lifetime Guarantee applies to Platinum Prestige Plus range only.
Before any work can be carried out under guarantee, EDGE will conduct a full inspection of your charging system. This guarantee will not be offered and will not subsequently apply if you do not authorise the fitting of all additional parts considered necessary for replacement to restore your battery system to its proper working condition.
Company vehicles, hire vehicles, taxis and vehicles for commercial purposes or motorsports are not covered.
Subject to the exclusions within this clause, a lifetime guarantee is offered on all brake pads and shoes, and free replacement sets will be available for as long as you own the vehicle.
Additionally, we will guarantee all other new brake parts fitted, including labour for the first 12 months after fitment or the first 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) conditional upon your continued ownership of the vehicle. EDGE will dismantle and repair or replace at its discretion any defective parts and reassemble them on your vehicle free of charge, subject to these guarantee conditions.
Before any work can be carried out under guarantee, EDGE will conduct a full inspection report. This guarantee will not be offered and will not subsequently apply if you do not authorise the fitting of all additional parts considered necessary for replacement to restore your braking system to its proper working condition.
Company vehicles, hire vehicles, taxis and vehicles for commercial purposes or motorsports are not covered. Vehicles fitted with inboard braking systems and/or handbrake pads and shoes are excluded from the lifetime guarantee.
All exhausts and catalytic converters sold by EDGE come with a 3-year unlimited mileage guarantee. They may need to be returned to the manufacturers for inspection. It may also be necessary for customers to have their engine management system and associated components checked to ensure that they are in good working order. Note – Chromed or ‘Chromed effect’ parts can sometimes suffer a natural surface deterioration. This is not covered under this guarantee.
8. Service Components and Other Mechanical Parts
Service components and any other mechanical parts, including starters and alternators, are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
38. Shock Absorbers and Air to Coil Conversions
We offer a 2 year unlimited mileage guarantee and a 14 day money back guarantee. If we fit shock absorbers to your vehicle and you notice no improvement to the ride, road-holding or comfort and return within 14 days of purchase, we will re-fit your old shock absorbers free of charge and refund the cost in full. Please hold on to your old shock absorbers for the first 14 days so we can re-fit them, in the unlikely event that this proves necessary.
Air to Coil Spring Conversions may be carried out subject to customer instruction however we accept no liability for changes to the Type Approval Status of your vehicle and you indemnify us against all liability in the same.
9. Engines and Gearbox Replacement
We offer a 3 month guarantee on all engine conversions and replacements made save where the engine is supplied by you. You accept all costs and liability with the install of second hand or used engines and indemnify EDGE against any cost or harm however derived.
10. LED Light Conversions
We offer a range of light conversions for Land Rover and off road vehicles, these come with a 12 month warranty. LED lights have non specific beam patterns and can cause issues with MOT tests if incorrectly adjusted to headlamps. Post fitting it is your responsibility to ensure the lights are correctly adjusted and no liability will be accepted where an MOT fails its MOT however we will use best endeavours to ensure these are correctly adjusted.
LED Light bars whilst fitted should not be used on road as risk to other motorists may result.
In the event you have a warranty claim you must follow our claims procedure.
11. Land Rover Defender Chassis Change
We offer a 12 month warranty on all chassis changes. We do not warranty the chassis itself or the quality of the galvanising. Due to production variations it has been noted that issues with geometry of supplied chassis are off resulting in extended fitting times. In these instance we reserve the right to charge time and materials at our standard workshop rate to rectify the issue or reject the chassis.
We will create a list of any additional parts required to complete the change at 2 stages:
Should any further parts be needed these will be chargeable, any delay may prevent delivery of the vehicle.
12. Custom Built Vehicles
Any vehicle having significant changes to its original specification will qualify as a custom built vehicle and will have a 12 month parts and labour return to base warranty, these changes include engine or suspension changes, paint work and/or electrical or drive systems.
We will attempt to give you an expected date of completion and may produce a schedule of works, however due to the nature of these projects, third party supplied parts, defects or other issues outside our control, staff absence or business interruption these dates are not guaranteed. Indicative dates are simply that and we accept no liability whatsoever for issues relating to delays outside our control.
In the event any delay occurs we explicitly deny any liability for consequential or other damages however derived. We normally charge 50% of the build cost before works start and up to 2 additional stage payments leading to hand over at approximately 50% completion and 7 days prior to hand over. If a part payment or stage payment is made, you are liable for a minimum of 50% of the job valve or the value of the work to date in the event the job is aborted for whatever reason.
13. Customer Supplied Parts
You accept liability for all parts however supplied and in any condition supplied the EDGE and may be fitted at our discretion. In the event you supply either a faulty or incorrect part we reserve the right to repair, replace or exchange it at your cost.
Guarantees do not apply to customer supplied parts.
14. Vehicle Sales
We offer a minimum of 3 months warranty on all vehicles sold by us that are not on a conditional sale on behalf of a customer. This may be increased depending on the vehicle at the sole discretion of EDGE. In the event you purchase a car, the warranty is limited to return to base, parts and labour we do not cover your time or any other costs or consequential losses however derived. The vehicle must be returned to us, in the event you allow any third party to work on it except with our express permission or in the event of an emergency breakdown you will forgo all and any warranty support on the vehicle except that may be provided by your statutory rights. These rights exceed your rights.
Most vehicles will be supplied with a minimum of one key, balance of the MOT at time of sale or 12 months. Vehicles are MOT'd before sale and this may shorten as the vehicle remains unsold.
15. Cancellation of Work for Scheduled Customers (All other work other than drive in or while you wait)
You have the right to cancel at any time before the instructed work has commenced.
There will be no charge provided no costs have been incurred. Where costs have been incurred you will only pay for 50% of the total job value or the work completed or the cost incurred if greater. Payment for costs incurred will be required prior to the removal of the vehicle. Deposits will be refunded only if no costs have been incurred. If you collect an unfinished vehicle any deposit is forfeited with or without notice and you are liable for a minimum of 50% of the job value. All specification works carried out before starting work become chargeable at our standard published work rate.
16. How to Claim Under Your Guarantee
Take your vehicle or part to any EDGE centre together with your guarantee, your original receipt and any other paperwork provided to you. Please be sure to keep your original paperwork safe as a failure to produce this could impact on your ability to claim.
